Kendogma was founded by Jacob Crawford in January 2023 while living in Lake Tahoe, California. Jacob first discovered Kendama in February 2022 after he became sober from alcohol.
Jacob attributes a lot of his success in staying alcohol free to kendama and the community behind it.
The goal at Kendogma is to spread the love of kendama far and wide. Kendogma achieves this goal through acts of community support by giving away kendamas to players, sponsoring kendama events, creating product collaborations with kendama companies, and connecting with kendama players.
Kendogma is centered around art, high-performance kendama design, and spreading the love of kendama.

Q: How long have you been playing kendama?
A: About 1.5 years.
Q: What is your play style?
A: Still developing my own unique play style. I love juggles and Half Goon String Pinches and try to incorporate them into different tricks.
Q: What are your top 5 favorite kendama tricks?
A: Juggle, Half Goon String Pinch, Earth turn, Inward Whirlwind, and Ghost Lighthouse.
Q: Why do you love kendama?
A: I love kendama because it has genuinely helped me to stay sober from alcohol. I also love it because I have met so many wonderful people through kendama that I otherwise would never have crossed paths with in life. It is a challenge that requires consistency, determination and the desire to have fun in the moment.
